How to become a EMT with a Juvenile misdemeanor.?

I'm 18 years old and I am from Atlanta,Ga an I was charged with Misdemeanor Simple Assault when I was 14 an I was charged in a Juvenile Court. Yes I was convicted, with 1 year probation. I completed the probation successfully an got released 4 months early. I am currently completing my enrollment at Atlanta Tech for the EMT-I course an in the process of getting my Juvenile record Destroyed, is there going to be any obstacles that I would need to know before I start my classes an take my exam? Yes I was young an ignorant an I learned from my mistakes. And I have my High School Diploma.
