If I wanted to write a book about ghosts?

I'm trying to write a book and the main characters are ghosts. The problem is realistically, they have nothing to be afraid of since they are already dead. The ghosts are not your typical ghosts. They are the spirits of dead people but they can still interact with humans and are more common than people think. But if the ghosts have nothing to fear (death) then how can I give them obstacles?
