What do I do about this girl I like?

well i have some experience here, a girl liked me, she lives in the US, im in the UK, and we talked quite a lot, but after about a year it just ended, and it was weird because, we didnt really have anything to start off with, we talked, she said she liked me, i said i liked her, and we'd just talk about stuff, one point she said she loved me, and i was wondering if thats actually possible since we'd never met face to face, but it lasted for about a year, the thing is though, i didnt really like her that much, but i didnt tell her that, because i did like talkin to her, shes a good friend now, but i think you should just say you like her and see what she says, what u got to lose?
