Big tonsils, problem singing?

I would contact two "professionals" concerning your tonsils and singing career. I'd first ask a trusted singing coach if large tonsils are a hindrance for hitting high notes and if having your tonsils removed would be a good idea and would indeed help your singing career. If the answer from the singing coach for these questions is yes, then you should discuss the possible removal of your tonsils with your doctor and get his/her opinion on removing your tonsils. It's a pretty simple operation these days. I had mine removed years ago because of getting "strepped throat" nearly every year until my tonsils were removed at age 7. Good luck!
