Going swimming with my nose piercing on?

I am going to go swimming at my friend's pool on 4th of July, well actually July 3rd since it is supposed to rain July 4th. Last year, I did swim with my nose ring, but I was just really nervous it would get pulled out or come out since I hold my nose while underwater. I had it pulled out a couple times, first time it came out and the piercer put it back in and the second time it didnt come all the way out so i just pushed it back in. I am afraid to squeeze my nose thus making it come out. How should I prevent water coming in my nose and me somwhat choking on the water. So I can just clean my piercing when I come home with soap and all that once Im done? Any advice will be helpful. :D
